Early American History
Early American History: The Yale University Department of History intends to make a tenure-track assistant professor appointment in early American history, to begin July 1, 2011. Applications are invited from historians with strong potential for achievement in scholarship, undergraduate and graduate teaching, and intellectual leadership. South Asian History: The Department of History at Yale University intends to make a senior tenured appointment at the professional level in Modern South Asian History, beginning July 1, 2011. Candidates should expect to demonstrate exceptional qualities of scholarship, teaching, and University citizenship. Yale University is an AA/EOE. Modern African History
The Yale University Department of History intends to make a tenure-track assistant professor appointment, to begin July 1, 2011, focusing on Modern Africa. Preferred teaching capability in Sub-Saharan African History since 1850. Applications are invited from historians with strong potential for achievement in scholarship, undergraduate and graduate teaching, and intellectual leadership.
