Caitlin Verboon
I am a second year student in American history, focusing on post- Emancipation United States history, with an emphasis on African American and Southern history. My main research interests include the role of migration and urban growth in the emergence of legalized segregation.
I am a native Tarheel from Chapel Hill, NC and I received my B.A. in history from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. Before beginning my graduate study, I worked in the curator’s office of the Supreme Court of the United States and as a historical research consultant in the Washington DC metro area.
Please feel free to email me with any questions about the history graduate program at Yale.
