Workshop at YDS pivotal to upcoming U.S.-Muslim conference in Egypt
One year ago this June, President Barack Obama laid out a new vision for the relationship between the United States and Muslims the world over. Now Yale Divinity School is playing a direct role as influential leaders take up the Obama challenge and explore ways to turn vision into reality. From February 21-23, YDS hosted a planning workshop for prominent scholars, policy makers, activists, and public figures from throughout the US and Middle East.
